“Krasny Kotelshchik” Supplied the Equipment to Svobodnenskaya TPP

The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik” (TKZ) participated in equipage of Svobodnenskaya TPP under construction. The scope of supply included boilers with a steam capacity of 320 t/h and auxiliary equipment.

“Krasny Kotelshchik” supplied to the Power Plant three power boilers designed for natural gas combustion. When designing this equipment, modern solutions that allowed creating boiler units of a compact design have been used.

For example, it was decided to refuse the close-coupled arrangement with an external air heater column, which is typical for such boilers. And more compact arch-type arrangement with a built-in tubular air heater was chosen. It meets specific features of the TKZ equipment installation place – boiler cells of the power plant, which have restricted dimensions.

Besides, heating surfaces with optimum technical and economic features have been used in the design. Namely, metal consumption of these assemblies has been decreased, and high operating parameters of boiler units have been retained.

TKZ equipment is planned to be put into operation before the end of 2020. But first, the specialists of the company are expected to complete erection supervision of the equipment, as well as to perform training for the operating personnel at the Power Plant.

Construction of Svobodnenskaya TPP rated at 160 MW is being performed in the Svobodnenskiy Area of the Amur Region. The new site will provide additional conditions for development of industrial potential of the Far Eastern Federal District and will allow implementing advanced projects in gas chemical industry. Namely, the Thermal Power Plant will supply steam to Amur Gas Treatment Plant – it will become one of the world’s largest natural gas processing companies. Besides, Svobodnenskaya TPP will serve as an electric power supply source.
