Svobodnenskaya TPP Equipped with “Krasny Kotelshchik” Equipment Put in Operation
In Amur Region the Gazprom Energoholding Group completed the implementation of a large investment project: the new thermal power plant which influences the stability of this region power supply was commissioned. PJSC “The Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik” (TKZ) participated in supplying the required power equipment to the Svobodnenskaya TPP. In particular, the company supplied to the site three steam boilers with a steam capacity of 320 t/h each.
Commissioning of Svobodnenskaya TPP allows creating further conditions for development of the industrial potential of the Far East region. In particular, the main task of the new TPP is process steam and power supply to Amur GPZ (Gas Treatment Plant) of Gazprom which will become of the largest natural gas treatment plants in the world.
While implementing this large-scale investment project the equipment produced by Russian companies was used. In particular the power boilers designed for firing the natural gas were developed, manufactured and supplied by the “Taganrog Boiler-Making Works “Krasny Kotelshchik”. Up-to-date design solutions were adopted in creating the boilers; those solutions allowed providing the power plant with the boiler units of compact design.
To achieve this aim it was decided not to use the inherent for this type of boilers closed layout with an external air pre-heater. Company specialists suggested using a more space-saving arch-type layout with an inbuilt tubular air pre-heater. Such layout in full fits the power plant boiler cells limited in their overall dimensions. Further to that, specific amount of metal for main components of the boiler units was reduced, at that the high performance indices of the boilers themselves were maintained.
