«Krasny Kotelshchik» switched over to remote control infrared gas emitters
The Taganrog boiler-making works «Krasny Kotelshchik» (TKZ), which is the part of PJSC «Power machines» completed the second stage of infrared heating dispatching. Two TKZ production units joined the project: heat-exchange equipment shop and pipe-forging shop. Previously, this system was implemented in the pipe-block shop and metalware shop.
Infrared heating has been used on the «Krasny Kotelshchik» since 2009. Production units of the enterprise are the main consumers of the heat. The required temperature in the shops of TKZ is provided by more than 2000 infrared gas emitters.
Due to the dispatching of infrared heating from an automated workplace, the operator can remotely control the emitters of several workshops involved in the project. Previously the temperature correction was carried out manually. Such features as equipment operating modes programming by zone, time and period as well as archival data retention are possible today.
Among the main advantages of the project – is a timely shutdown of infrared heating in areas not involved in the production. As a result, there is a reduction of gas consumption required for the emitters, and this has beneficial cost savings for the enterprise.
